Darrien DeFederico is a lifelong resident of Ocean County, New Jersey. He lives there with his wife Sabrina and two children. His daily job keeps him busy improving communication infrastructure. Despite this blue collar background, his academic roots run deep: he holds a bachelor's degree in ministry from Mid Atlantic Christian University and a Master of Divinity from Liberty University.

When he isn’t navigating the technical side of things, Darrien is often found immersed in his own "Great Library." A true enthusiast of world cultures and history, he spends his free time studying languages—ranging from Japanese to Biblical Greek—and crafting his own worlds through writing. Whether he is dissecting the complex rhythms of a jazz fusion record or tracing historical threads through a new book, Darrien’s life is defined by a constant pursuit of knowledge. His life verse is Proverbs 4:7 (KJV), which reads "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." 

Hi, I'm the founder of Hybrid Discpleship. This started as just a task for my internship for finishing up my MDiv, but it's turned into something I really love doing.

I am a servant of Christ above all other things, and of course next after that would be a husband. Now beyond those givens, I am a nerd at heart. Weather you catch me reading some Pratchett, watching ReZero, or playing some Helldivers 2, I'm always up to something. 

I apply that same kind of obsessive passion to my studies of scripture. Whether it's building the Matthew series or writing a devotional (shameless plugs I know) I give it everything I have because my Lord deserves at least that much (and really so much more).
